Cemetery
The City manages the Mound Union Cemetery located at 6410 County Road 110 West.

Cemetery Maintenance Agreement - Required for Memorials 
From May through October, when mowing is needed, the City requires a maintenance agreement for memorials other than the gravestone. 

This is meant to facilitate efficient mowing. Memorials need to be temporarily moved during the mowing process, which adds time to the process. It is a way to know that the memorials that are there are being tended to by an owner.

Memorial Day Memorials
Please note that memorials for Memorial Day are allowed ten (10) days before and after Memorial Day each year without a maintenance agreement.
