2026 Election Schedule and Absentee/Early Voting

2026 Election Schedule
The City will conduct elections at City of Mound polling places on the following dates:

State Primary Election - August 11, 2026
General Election - November 3, 2026

Early and Absentee Voting 
Mound City Hall at 2415 Wilshire Blvd. will be open for Absentee Voting during regular office hours.
City of Mound office hours are 7:30-4:30 Monday through Thursday and 7:30-4:30 on Fridays.

Absentee and Early Voting will begin on Friday, June 26 for the State Primary and run through Monday, August 10th at 5:00 p.m.
The process for Absentee Voting is as follows:
  • You will fill out an absentee application
  • You will get a ballot and vote it at City Hall
  • After completing the ballot, you will return it to the election official
  • The voted ballot will go into an envelope
  • A ballot board will review the envelope later
Early Voting for State Primary at City Hall
Early voting will be available for the first time.  Early Voting begins 18 days before the State Primary on July 24, 2026.

Extra Absentee Voting Date for State Primary - August 8th from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

The process for Early Voting is as follows:
  • You will complete a short certificate
  • You will receive a ballot and vote it at City Hall
  • After completing the ballot, you will insert it in a ballot tabulator
